To enhance practical learning, students of the Mechanical Engineering Department (Sections A and B) visited Sri Nachammai Cotton Mills, Karaikudi, on August 14 and 22, 2025. The visit offered students an in-depth understanding of the textile manufacturing process, from raw cotton handling to the production of finished yarn. During the visit, students observed key stages such as Blow Room processing, Carding, Drawing, Roving, Spinning, and Winding, gaining valuable insights into the operation of advanced textile machinery and quality control systems.
